As the fourth of five generations of Oberlin College graduates in his family, Chris Donaldson joined the Oberlin staff in 1997. In his current role, he serves as an assistant dean of students, directs the Office of Student Academic Success Programs, coordinates the Peer Mentoring Program, and serves as a SHARE advisor, and academic advisor.
He also works closely with student athletes on issues that relate to time management, adjustments to Oberlin life, and overall well-being. Chris grew up in Oberlin and attended Oberlin College, where he was a two-sport athlete. He graduated with a degree in African American studies.
