New Beginnings
A beautiful scene captured at Elvaston Castle, Derbyshire. As you know I love this place and I also have a love affair with trees and clouds and the sky. This scene is so alive for me with all the fallen leaves feeding the earth and fauna around it, the new growth of tree branches and leaves; the budding flowers to the lower right-side of the frame -and then the contrail seen in the background at the height of the tree. A slower shooter speed and neutral density (ND) filter would have caught the steady movement of the clouds and the impact of the swirling wind but I wanted to just freeze that moment as an image for all time.
