White heron / Kotuku

A single Kotuku in the whole lagoon at Waikouaiti yesterday. We had our fresh bread and soup for lunch and my wife had also cooked bagles by some complicated boiling then baking. Great with sMoked salmon and cream cheese for a midwinter indoor picnic. Then a spot of shiraz and blue cheese to invigorate before the walk to lagoon and beach. Hope your weekend goes well. Sunny but only 11 C here.
