Shawn Tabankin, the Commander of the New York Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment address officers and special guest prior to the early morning traditional Irish whiskey toast held at the units Armory on Lexington Ave, NYC, on March 17, 2022. It is a tradition for the regiment's officers to start the day with a toast of Irish whiskey prior to the unit marching in the early morning hours to attend a special Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral to honor the regiments fallen and honor its Irish heritage prior to the parade.
