110 Mini Cams

The mini Holga 110's, in the right-hand stack, are my main ones; the yellow TaxiCam one, a red one, and the black one. The red Holga is not in the photo because it is MIA once again, probably in the bottom of my purse. The non-Holga ones are the Le World style ones....I have three or four of the yellow-and-black ones and two rare red one's silk-screened with True Lies, from the movie of the same name. I have a number of the Le World style ones in different colours...some are the yellow 'tackle box' ones as well. These work as well as the Holga's with the added feature of being able to take movie film if you put the sprocket holes on the bottom when you reload the 110 cassettes. The advance will stop at every hole so you have to advance, cover the lens with your thumb, advance two more times and take the picture. Then repeat. There are multiples of each frame number so I use the second number in the set. On top is a purple Kalimar and is the only one with a flip up front AND rear peep sight. Each of these has different types of film in them. Some are Orca b&w, expired factory loads, and rerolled 16mm Eastman 7222 XX b&w movie stock single perf, and 16mm cut off strips from 120 to 127 film slitting, such as Velvia 100 slit to 110 16mm sizes. Orca is pretty good, acts like Fomapan 100 and probably is. But for cameras that don't need 110 sprocket holes to work, the 7222 XX is the best. A 100-foot roll of 7222 XX gives me about 40 110 cassettes. Price is $49 for 100 feet.
