summer holiday (Aug 2008)

spent our first two days in downtown San Francisco. we walked everywhere!

then we rented a car and drove up to spend a day in Sonoma Valley and a day in Napa Valley. drank lots and lots of great wine and had loads of fun.

we then headed to Carmel and Pebble Beach for the 17-mile drive. staying in Monterey for the night.

then it was a stop at Big Basin, before ending our trip on the Santa Cruz boardwalk.
