Scary Skeleton!
We had plans to do our cul-de-sac Halloween party just like we have done the last few years but yesterday about 3:00 it started RAINING and it did NOT quit! So even though I had ALL kinds of fun decorations and stuff running around in my head (we had already made Ghosts from old t-shirts and hung them outside and you can see Frankenstein's tombstone next to S - we made a whole graveyard ;-) Our party just was NOT going to happen! I was SOOO frustrated and disappointed! So we moved the party to the neighbors garage next door and Trick or Treated in the freezing cold rain and at the end of the night I was NOT feeling so festive but as I was putting S to bed he said "MOM this was SUCH a GREAT Halloween! We made decorations and everybody thought I was the SCARIEST Skeleton and I got LOTS of candy AND I got to hang out with Daddy before bed! Just the best day EVER!" and he fell asleep without even asking for a story. I love having kids! They help me fix my bad attitude!
