El Monasterio de la Trinidad y San Sergio,es el monasterio más importante de Rusia y el centro espiritual del cristianismo ortodoxo ruso. Este fue fundado en 1345 por San Sergio de Radonezh, el mismo se encuentra en la ciudad de Sérgiev Posad,unos 45 kilómetros al noreste de Moscú.
Declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1993, el monasterio también alberga las reliquias de San Sergio, su fundador
La iglesia de la Asunción (1559-1585) es la mas grande del monasterio.Sin duda atrae atención con las maravillosas cúpulas con la principal de color dorado y las otras de color azul cubiertas de estrellas doradas que se ven desde lo más lejos.

The Monastery of the Trinity Sergius is the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual center of the Russian Orthodox Christianity. This was founded in 1345 by St. Sergius of Radonezh, it is located in the town of Sergiev Posad, about 45 kilometers northeast of Moscow.
Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993, the monastery also houses the relics of St. Sergius, the founder.
The Church of the Assumption (1559-1585) is the largest of monasterio.Sin certainly attracts attention with the wonderful domes with golden master and the other blue decks gold stars can be seen from far away.
