A young private investigator who vowed to bring his mom's killer - his own father - to justice. He joined the Marines, and was crippled during his service in Vietnam. He returned to Gotham, got his degree in Criminology, and opened up an office that prided itself on its ethics. His services have been called upon by the Caped Crusader himself, and often by the Birds of Prey. He and Barbara were (are?) kind of a thing. It's one of those deals.
