DC's Dial H for Hero
Chris King, Robby Reed, and Vicky Grant
I'd heard of Dial H before tonight, but I'd never actually looked too hard into it, which is a shame. For those unaware, each of these teenagers uses an artifact known as the H-Dial, a rotary dial that reacts to certain words being spelled out with it, most prominently "H-E-R-O", which temporarily turns them into a random superhero. It's sort of like Ben 10 meets Chronicle, from the sound of things, and it's nearly made it to television a time or two.
This is also my first real forray into not-entirely-purist figures since my early-early days of sharpies and whiteout! I cut off one of the shackles of a pair of handcuffs to make Chris's watch, which is the only option I could find for an important feature of the character, at the sacrifice of one of the most common accessories on the market. Don't expect much more of it, though!
