The Dark Knight
The Protector of Gotham City
Something big I've been working on for the past few weeks, part of my inactivity. Unveiled last night at my local LEGO group meeting, Batman stands roughly 1 ft. tall without his display base. This is my first ever full body character, and I'm actually impressed with what I was able to pull off here. He is 100% LEGO, featuring a 75111 Darth Vader cape.
This month's theme was Batman in my local LEGO group, and I never even intended to do this. The wonderful Tim Lydy was a huge inspiration, but of course I wanted to do my own style.
Also, I recently have gotten access to a real, professional camera. These are the first photos I've ever taken, so bare with me as I experiment and learn.
This will be part of an interesting project I'm working on for BrickFair Virginia 2017, so come see him in person there!

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's let LEGO be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it.
