December 08, 2016- The iUnit arrives at the ESIF. The team meticulously works together to get the modular building,with only inches of clearance on the sides and top, through the high bay door of the lab at the ESIF. The iUNIT, a Lead Silver, 380 sq ft volume metric modular apartment unit will be tested at scale in the ESIF at NREL to see if improvements of the energy efficiency and resident interaction can be made in the production of the unit..
