I spent the morning in Philly seeing Obama for the first time. If you have the chance, take it. He is a highly charismatic person and eloquent speaker. I also agree with many of his plans for getting this country back on track.
Spent the afternoon as a volunteer for his campaign, canvasing Democrats in Pennsylvania to get out the vote on Tuesday (my first political activism ever).
This is my also my first attempt to capture photos in more challenging circumstances: from a distance, a crowd of jostling people around me and between me and my subject. My aim when holding the camera over my head is poor! I probably should have gone higher ISO speeds and smaller apetures, the photos aren't as crisp as one would like. All in all I'm a bit disappointed in the results. Practice makes perfect...
On Barack's Flickr site he mentions the bach cello suites as some of his favorite music. No wonder I like him. He does not mention NIna Hagen, though ;)
