During my exhibition in February, I was fortunate enough to make quite a few sales and off the back of that I gained representation and then exhibited at the Battersea Affordable Art Fair.
February / March were busy times, but it was great as through the sales I managed to fund a trip to Venice where this image was taken.
This is hopefully the first of many to come from that trip. This shot though would not have been captured if it wasn't for Rohan Reilly who kindly shared this location with me.
A selection of my work is going to be exhibited again this and next weekend as part of the Dulwich Open House Festival, if you are local to London then why not pop by to take a look, it's a great way for people to display their work and it's an extremely popular event so pleased to be a part of it. My work will be displayed at:
The Aterie
37 Northcross Road
London SE22 9ET
As for this shot, I'm surprised that this came out as well as it did, as the conditions when I was in Venice weren't the kindest. This was taken at about 2pm in very harsh light. If I was in the UK I wouldn't have bothered and would have returned on an overcast day, but I had to take every opportunity during the few days that I was there and I pleased I persevered.
Hope everyone here is well.
