The berries are ripening

1A06 quest part XII.

An unrecorded class 43 locomotive hurtles eastwards at Backwell Bow, near Nailsea, with the 06:20 Weston-super-Mare to London Paddington service on Thursday 10th August 2017.

I'm sorry the berries aren't in focus. I had the vague idea that I would overlay an in-focus photo of the berries - taken at the same time - on that part of the image, but it just didn't work out. Another case where better planning would have borne fruit, so to speak.

This shot was also a fallback outcome, in the sense that I had intended to photograph the train as it passed through the cutting just east of this point. But I had left it too late; by this date the sun wasn't rising early enough to penetrate the cutting at this hour, so I had to think of something else quickly. One for next year maybe?
