Havana by night, preview

(Many more night shots from Havana, coming soon). Even though a few minutes later, there was a 1st attempt on my camera to be robbed, it's one of my favourite ones -
(The story : please, read this if you intend to visit Havana : a very atmospherical place, specially at night and specially in the south of old Havana... I was out in the streets each night there and "flirted a bit with danger", was "rewarded" by 2 agressions, fortunately by "amateurs" : each time and on separate occasions, a lone youngster came in an agile way by my side, managed to grab my precious Lumix very delicately in order not to damage it, tried to pull it away, but could not as it was always safely tied to my shoulders...
always out of the blue of course... Fortunately they were only amateurs and did not insist when they realised that they would have to take me along :))
=>> it could have been much worse, I could have been molested or knived, or attacked by a gang or threatened and ordered to leave all the things I had on me : nothing of the sort, but OTOH in those circumstances, no one came to help, comfort or protect even though I was not alone in those streets !
I did not find this particularly traumatising and on both occasion, continued to shoot on the same spot as by then, everyone knew that I could scream very very loud, the thieves had fled into the dark night and I was still fascinated by all these shadows and incredible buildings ; if need be, I also sensed that I could have cried for help and would have been given some assistance in that case !)
