Magnificent McGee Creek

It's a bit late to be posting fall colors, but after a little time off from Flickr I realized I still had this shot which I never shared, so I figured better late than never. It's also kind of nice for me to look back on this one and remember what a pleasant surprise McGee Creek ended up being. While many other locations in the Sierras were all over the place as far as which trees were peaking where and when, McGee creek really came through and put on a magnificent display.
