Bar Harbor Inn
This is the beautiful hotel we stayed in while we were in Maine. Luckily, we were able to get a room in the original building - the wing was added much later. Our room was just to the left of the big balcony on the front.
The rounded part of the inn is "The Reading Room," the fantastic restaurant at the inn. Every meal was eaten in front of the windows looking out at Frenchman Bay - very beautiful, very romantic.
By the way, I was never able to get a picture when it wasn't low tide; the timing just never worked out. Either we were sleeping or in the park climbing on big rocks...
