Philadelphia Skyline
"Six more weeks of winter", promised that groundhog.
He wasn't wrong. Five feet of snow in February, washed down with 4 inches of rain at the weekend. Then, six weeks to the day - nay, to the hour - the rain finally stopped, the sky cleared and we were treated to a beautiful, mild, early spring day.
By the evening, Philadelphia was alive with walkers, joggers, cyclists and rollerbladers as I stood over the still-swollen Schuylkill river waiting for the sun to set for this shot.
