M42, M43 and the Running Man (NGC 1977)

M42 in all its glory, this is a composite of two images one for the main part of the nebula and one for the core detail. Pretty pleased with this as it was captured in not the best conditions there was some high cloud when capturing the RGB.

 

I did capture some data with the luminance filter but never used it as it did not add anything I ended up using the Ha as the luminance layer.
