Another shot of the Cape Palliser light.
Cape Palliser is the home of the wind... The day we were here, it was howling across that concrete apron in front of the lighthouse. At least 40 kts and 50+ in the gusts. Some folk came up the steps and went straight back down again!
It's a wild place here on the Wairarapa Coast and with all that oceanic action with three major bodies of water meeting it's no surprise.
