Murgon/Wondai, QLD, 17/06/2016
I accompanied LNP Candidate Llew O'Brien in the electorate of Wide Bay today - Cherbourg Aboriginal Community, Murgon, & Wondai, Queensland being our stops.
We were delighted to make four funding announcements that will benefit local citizens, including:
$426,698 for CCTV cameras to improve community safety in Murgon.
$25,000 to extend the Murgon Men's Shed.
$20,000 to upgrade the Murgon PCYC South Burnett.
A new mobile base station in Wide Bay - through the additional $60 million announced as part of the Coalition Government's national Mobile Blackspot programme.
A great day with wonderful community people. 17/06/2016
