The Faint Emission Nebula (IC 5068) in Cygnus - HOO (RGB Stars)

IC 5068, is a faint emission nebula, located in the neighborhood of the North American and Pelican nebulae. IC 5068 is situated very close to the massive and bright star, known as Deneb.

The nebula is mostly known for the streaks of dark clouds that separate the colorful hydrogen regions, which also cordon the nebula off from its better-known neighbors.

Narrowband (HOO) version: H-Alpha mapped to red, OIII mapped to blue and OIII+Ha mapped to the green channel. while the colors in this image are not the true colors, the narrowband filters were used create the nebula color. Then I added the natural star colors using RGB filters and Starnet process.
