Inception Style Street
I shot this down an alley way in Chicago. The reason being that it reminds me of the look of Inception. It is interesting to look at the aesthetic of Chicago. The inspiration on Christopher Nolan's work. The scale and symmetry of Chicago's buildings is fascinating and gives one a feeling of vertigo by looking up at the buildings. Much of Nolan's work and the look of his recent films in particular thrive on his ability to capture and use scale to immerse and thrill the audience. In Particular the IMAX 70mm film sequences in The Dark Knight. Looking forward to seeing the 40 minutes of IMAX Shots in the next instalment, The Dark Knight Rises.
