Fujinon lens adaptation to DSLR Nikon

Fujinon lens adaptation to DSLR Nikon

I wanted to use this great lens in my D90, here it is how I did it (step 2 of 3):

A problem remain unsolved, the iris management. Commonly the iris must be open during metering and close to the desired aperture during the shot. AIs lenses do so.

This lens has a pin in the back to perform this task, but it is not compatible with Nikon.

So I decided to go this way, I added a part of a stick from a cotton snap to lock the aperture to the figure indicated in the ring. This way the aperture now is achieved moving the ring without pressing the pin.

The lens can be use this way, first I set the aperture with the ring, then the camera set the speed (aperture priority mode or P mode) Manual mode can be used too.Half stops can be set in between full stops. I also needed to add a chip to the lens, see part 3.

Focus is always manual.
