Day 20/365 - Fly Away Home

The day from hell... well not really but it was really, really long. Woke at 4:30AM to catch a bus to the Los Cabos Airport, which for some godawful reason is in the middle of the friggin desert an hour away from everything, and sqeezed my self into a tiny coach class seat. Although I will admit that the seats were a thousand times more comfortable than the first class seats on the American West jet coming down here. It was only 2 hours from Cabo to Phoenix but I slept the whole way and managed to stay conscious for the rest of the day.
In Phoenix we ate at Chilies and had only the second american meal in over 6 days then went through a quick security check to the plane, which of course they delayed for almost an hour and a half. But at least we were going to be in first class for the rest of the trip so it didn't matter too much to me.
A nap, A screwed up movie and a tiny plate of lasagna later we landed in Charlotte NC to crowds of people and no plane. Naturally it's my luck to find any flaw in the system and have it work against me to make my life miserible and in this case it was the fact that we were late. The planes gate had been occupied so we had to wait a good 20 minutes staring at the airport with no place to go. But we finally got on the tiny plane and took off for Myrtle Beach.
We got our luggage, got in the car, and after dad gave the finger to a cop we finally left. God it's good to be home.
Can't wait until tomorrow so I can order my new camera...
