Dawn and the rains had passed

After a week of rain, early morning brought a new light to Malara. The folds and contours of the valleys and mountains are cast into gentle relief by the fresh light. A soft day as we might say in Scotland. The outlines of the last few of our pecans clinging to the tree tops, too high for the longest bamboo. They are the god's nuts.
