Pollock-inspired Tree
The first time I saw Pollock's paints was during my Art class at Ecole Polytechnique. What a sensational master piece ! The random movement of ink reminded me of my struggling time. I knew somehow my life was reflected by masterpiece: random, non-linear, with a lot of struggles to find the best harmony of life. And up to now, it's still true.
Pollock was one of the main reason I visited New York, and his paints were one of the first things I tried to see there. A good memory, both about Pollock, and about the Big Apple, that I would like to share by other photos on this galery.
This picture was taken during a winter morning in 2009, when I was strolling along the small stairs on the plateau near Ecole Polytechnique. At this time, the tree made a perfect Pollock's, and I was a perfect me.
