Anole

Many people confuse the anole with the chameleon because both can change color. The same anole can be brown or green, depending on its surroundings and mood. When two anoles meet, they usually turn green and puff up their throats; if one doesn’t back down, a fight will sometimes follow. Photo courtesy National Park Service.
