This was a spectacular event like nothing I’d ever seen before. It was constant for over an hour, with an explosion every two seconds. It extended over the whole northern horizon.

I took over 50 shots, but with the delay from my cool pix I missed them all except these two. You can imagine how long this image hung in the sky. Can you imagine how much of the sky this jolt encompassed ?
