Update - July 23rd:
A garage fire (being investigated) took out most of the garage including the car on the lift. Insurance carried on both property and car. 914 appears to be totaled.

Looking on ebay and other sources for another 914 or 912.

Update (August 14th - 17th):

Appears that fire was started from a rechargeable MagLite. Insurance for the car and garage is being sorted out. Quite a bit of work, especially the garage.

Found a 1970 Porsche 914 on ebay and won the auction. Delivered to my parents address on the 14th.

As you can see, the car is practically mint. It was meticulously maintained by the original owner and all related paperwork for the car was offered with the car.

Only mods/needs for the car is the installation of a new stereo and speakers, looking at rear wheel/tire clearance and finding small plugs and odds and ends for the car.
