Auto Takumar SMC Takumar 55/1.8

SMC and AUTO Takumar 55mm f/1.8's compared. The SMC seems to have the front element recessed a bit more, you can also see how effective the SMC coating really is.

 

Note also that the f/stop rings turn in opposite directions.
