A hovering Rainbow-bearded Thornbill has been inspecting a tiny spider and its spider web at the spectacular, high altitude Yanacocha Reserve (elevation 3,400 meters or 11,155 feet) on the northwestern slopes of Volcán Pichincha west of Quito in northwestern Ecuador on the early sunny morning of May 28, 2018.
