The Final Return
Brother Lawrence kept on walking, continuous onslaughts of memories tormenting him from every side. Trudging down the halls he could picture himself and his brothers, engrossed in prayer, reading Holy Scripture, preparing the meals, or simply relaxing and playing a simple sport or game together. "Those were better times," he thought, "Before the schism..."

My first entry for #SummerJoust2021 in the Monastery category. Originally this build was going to be built for the "Creating an atmosphere" category, so I started work on a medieval/fantasy immersive scene. However, after a terrible miscalculation of parts (and a quick look at my chances of winning 😶), I switched over to Monastery while still keeping the entry an immersive scene. The result: a MOC with which I am very pleased, even though about 1/3 of the time spent on this build was for photography and editing. Wish me luck!
Feedback is always much appreciated,
Happy Building!
