I recently saw some shots taken with a so called Lomochrome Purple XR film here on Flickr, and immediately had to get my hands on a couple of rolls! I loved the fantastical feeling of purple and pink, while portrait photos still presented people with a somewhat natural skin tone, which made it seemed like they lived in an alternative (possibly drug-infused) fantasy world to our own. I'm not at all sure what makes this purple tone, but it's developed in C-41 and hasthe word "chrome" in it, which is quite common in slide films, so it might hint to a cross process?
I recently got back my first developed roll, and it certainly didn't disappoint!
Taken with Canon AE-1 analog camera. Lomography LomoChrome Purple XR 100-400 film. First time using this film!
