02 hello from my neck of the woods

the 52 weeks theme is "Hello from..."

 

My mind immediately went to this "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, which I've taken before and probably for a similar theme.

 

The sign is located in a boring section in the middle of the street and doesn't really represent my neighborhood. I thought it would be cool to uproot the sign and plop it into the desert near my house.
