Magnusson Park

Once a World War 2 era naval air station, Magnusson Park sits on the shores of Lake Washington. Over the past few years the City of Seattle has restored large areas of wetlands, supplementing land already designated as nesting areas for birds. While parts of the park along the shore can be a bit crowded on summer weekends,there are always opportunities for quiet walks.
