Having taken the family to the Royal Bath and West Show I spent a few minutes with my camera in the coach park which is usually full of local operators' coaches old and new.
CYB144S was a Ford R1114 / Duple Dominant II C53F which was bought new in June 1978 by W Higson & Co Ltd., Frome who traded as Crown Tours.
Following the death of Fred Higson CYB144S passed with the rest of the Crown Tours business to C H Field Ltd., Paulton in July 1982 .
