073109 - Awaiting Summer Thunder...
July 31, 2009 - Kearney Nebraska US
It's the Dry Season Here. Late July mean dry thunderstorms. Usually has all the bark but none of the bite. Nice definition with oncoming storm cell.
It was Hot & Humid. For late July in Nebraska this is the norm & I luv it! Rain curtains, and some good gust of wind and it was welcoming since the air was still and stagnate.
Under the base as this storm slowly moved in from the northwest. I got in position and took some excellent snaps of this nice July storm cell.
