I have this uncanny knack to get to the right place at the right time when it comes to storms... This one was another spot on encounter. I decided to eyeball this storm and put away the radar and other electronics and just chase use the old way.
It had been a few weeks since any good photographic storms. We had Severe Thunderstorm warnings counties south of Phelps county (Located in South Central Nebraska) that afternoon.
I was close to this developing cell and I knew this was going to produce a nice base outflow. All the elements were in place. I got right along side as I raced this cell north.
