I-77 Visitors Center Renovation - After

This is what the center looked like after the renovation. Instead of purchasing new floor tiles and window panes, NCDOT recognized that the ones in the original facility were in good condition and could be reused in the renovated building. Doing so not only reduced the department’s carbon footprint, but it also saved vital taxpayer dollars.
