Useful map
I don't know how many times we referred back to this photo, but it was frequent.
We started in roughly the upper-right corner, attempting to follow the blue path, and almost immediately were off-track on the purple (paved, unfortunately) multi-use trail. It wasn't until we made it nearly to the Brecksville Nature Center ("C") that we realized that we were well off-track.
After finding this map right outside the nature center, we cut down the Deer Lick Trail (the brown oak leaf) to roughly "G", where we joined back up with the trail and followed it south past "6" and onward.
It's worth noting that the official maps that the CVNP hands out don't have any sort of legend or key for the badges and numbers (and don't have trail names listed anywhere); and the trail markers around the park *only* use the badges and numbers (and don't have trail names listed anywhere). Short of just leaving everything unmarked (the "Santa Clara County Park Method"), I'm not sure how they could have made things more confusing.
