130309-N-BJ178-085 NORTH PACIFIC OCEAN (March 9, 2013) A landing craft utility (LCU), assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, enters the well deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, currently deployed in the U. S. 7th Fleet area of operations, is conducting amphibious integration training (AIT), and is scheduled to participate in a certification exercise (CERTEX) upon completion of AIT.
