130216-N-DU438-014 GULF OF THAILAND (Feb. 16, 2013)— Nava l Air Crewmen (Helicopter) 2nd Class Jeremy Ciepluch, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) 25, conducts preflight checks on a MH-60S Sea Hawk on the flight deck aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) to participate in Cobra Gold. The Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, currently on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, is taking part in Cobra Gold, a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored multinational joint exercise designed to advance regional security by exercising a robust multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
