Unified Vision Trial 2018

German troops from a special operations unit extract a wounded pilot as part of a simulated personnel recovery mission in northern Germany during Unified Vision 18. This trial tests NATO's ability to use reconnaissance and intelligence assets to keep the Alliance safe - in this case, by locating and recovering a downed helicopter pilot.
