Trump VIII: Count Zero

Count Zero, or Adjustment, appears in the Querent's path. Whether the Querent is certain or not as to his strides, Count Zero seeks to refine, to understand, this path.

As shown here, Count Zero is blindfolded, symbolizing his detatchment from the seeming of things: this can be both boon and detriment. Is Count Zero asking the Querent about his motives and goals to adjust them into some greater version of themselves, or does Count Zero ask because he does not understand?

The cat to his left informs us of that curiosity, that questing. The cat is grey, as all cats, by night, are grey. Count Zero casts no shadow as he sits in judgment upon the matter at hand: a sign of how present he truly is in the computer matrices we call home.

Meanings-

Upright: honest inquiry, socratic dialog. Further explanation reveals further truth.

Inverted: Obfuscation, chicanery. Derision masked as curiosity.
