Graf Zeppelin over Egypt
In August of 1929 the Graf Zeppelin flew for 21 days and over 20,600 miles to become the first dirigible to circumnavigate the globe. Funded by William Randolph Hearst the rigid airship completed its world travels on August 29, landing in Lakehurst, NJ.
