JSC2011-E-034569 (11 April 2011) --- At the Cosmonautics Museum in Moscow, former Russian cosmonaut Alexey Leonov (left) and former NASA astronaut Thomas Stafford greet one another April 11, 2011 during ceremonies commemorating the 50th anniversary of the launch of Yuri Gagarin as the first human in space. Leonov, who was the first human to walk in space in March 1965, and Stafford commanded the Soyuz and Apollo vehicles that conducted the first linkup in space in July 1975 on the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.
