Interstate 35W bridge over the Mississippi River
I've ridden under this portion of the bridge 1000+ times. The now collapsed bridge would normally block the view here. The police officer here told me that a "busload of doctors" had just arrived from HCMC (Level 1 trauma and emergency center), just a few blocks away.
I've always liked riding this portion of the river road - just ahead it goes up a hill and is especially serene on a winter night, with a few inches of untouched snow and no cars to worry about.
