Alit in the night
The sky was aglow
With full pale moon light
A handsome creature
Of noble descent
His song is of beauty
Love and advent
Long for the night
His demeanor proud
Outlined and emphasized
In a full moon shroud
Why has he come?
On this beautiful night
Stately and calm
An ominous sight
Wary and wise
The traveler of night
Looks for love
On a Romeos plight
